Thank you Iman!

As most of you all know I've admired a very talented photographer Iman Woods for a long time. Well today I actually got to "meet" her via a very lovely phone chat. Please be sure to check out her work at www.imanwoods.com

She wrote a lovely post about our chat on her blog and when she directed people to my actual blog site I just about chocked on my iced tea! As you can see I haven't posted here in a long, long time. This blog as been on my "to do" list for a while now and I'm actually glad that Iman has sent people here to look at my stuff. Now it gives me a reason to update my blog and cross it off my "to do" list.

Wow I look at the pictures posted here when I first started photographing pin ups and baby I'm growing up! Here are a few of my recent works and hopefully soon I'll start posting on a regular basis. Of course you can always find me on Facebook! Just go to www.facebook.com/#!/hopetocapture and become a fan!

I'm going to San Diego!

Oh I'm just so excited! Tomorrow I leave for a workshop in San Diego and I get to meet a photographer whose work I have admired for a very long time! His name is Robert Alvarado and I can't believe I'm going to learn his lighting techniques and post processing work.

And to make things even sweeter, my hubby is coming along so we can spend some time sightseeing and enjoying the coast. Life is good....

I know I went to Portland back in March, so forgive me for being so late in posting some of the images. I've been swamped! Anyhoo... here is Mandy Apple and she was amazing to work with. In a later post you will learn why she is named Mandy Apple. =)

More Salon Valin Pictures!

Salon Valin

A few weeks ago I was hired by Downtown Laura Brown, the owner of Salon Valin to take "Pin-Up" pictures of her and her staff. What a great bunch of girls (and guy) to work with! They all got into it and we had so much fun. Thanks Downtown! I had so much fun and you are a blast!

Here is a link to her salon website. Check them out because they all ROCK! http://www.salonvalin.com/
