Why aren't there any pictures on this site?

It was brought to my attention that some people were surprised not to see any pictures on my "Pin-Up" site, so I thought I should explain.

I am in the process of learning a very cool photography technique and that is why I am calling for models right now. I will post pictures when they become available and I think I've perfected my work flow.

I will be going to Portland in March to learn from two amazing pin-up photographers. For two days they will be teaching their techniques and Photoshop secrets. The very next weekend I will have my first photo session and put into action what I've learned. Just like anything else, practice will make perfection.

My goal is to make my Pin-Up work original pieces of artwork. I'm learning Photoshop and Painter techniques that will make my pieces look more like painting than photographs.

If you would like to see where I want to take my photography/art, please see the links to two of my favorite photographers whose artwork I admire, follow and hope to mimic.

First there is Iman Woods http://www.imanwoods.com She is an AMAZING photographer and I love her work. Please visit her website and you will see why I love her work so much. I love the classic beauty she captures and if any one's pin-up work has inspired me, no one more than this talented young woman.

Then for the more "naughty" in me, there is Robert Alvarado. http://robertalvarado.net/gallery.html
He has also perfected the photography/art technique that I'm working on. I love his work!

So I hope this clears up why I don't have any photos on this blog yet. I'm a work in progress and I can't wait for you to see where Hope to Capture Photography will go next!

Hope, your talent is amazing! I love the new pin-up photo! We'll have to set up a shoot with my hubby's classic bike soon! Also, thinking about coming to your session in March! Call me to discuss more details! Again, the photos are fantastic! Beth
